James Dement Boyd, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed from this world on September 25, 2024. Born September 9, 1945 in Tyler, Texas, Jim was a Texan through-and-through!

He served his Country in the US Navy, and later retired as a Facilities Engineer with Nexxus Recovery.

Jim was a long-time member of the Irving Masonic Lodge #1218, a Shriner and a member of Irving Ambucs. He absolutely loved going to Disney, and being with the grandkids any chance he could.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 1, at 10:00 AM at The Church at Lakewood (TCAP)

3810 Hadley Lane, Venus, TX. Interment will be at Dallas-Fort worth National Cemetery at a later date.

James is survived by his wife of 40 years: Debi Boyd; children: Dr. Derek Goodson and wife Amanda, Caben Boyd, Amanda Kelly and husband Scott, and Teena Boyd; sister: Gayle Vic, grandchildren: Liberty, Addison, Mason, Hudson, Alexis and Andrew, along with a hosts of extended family and may friends.
