Patricia June "Patty" Varner Kelly, passed from this life to her eternal home, early on May 2, 2024 at her home, with her family by her side after a short recurrence of cancer. Born June 29, 1953 in Gorman, Texas to Delmar and Billie Putty Varner, she was the life and love to her husband William "Buster" Kelly. She went where he went, as an Air Force wife, both here and overseas. Family and friends in Abilene will remember her awesome Tupperware parties.

Patty was always a Texas girl, and loved bluebonnets, wildflowers, sweet tea, Diet Coke and Chicken Fried Steak !! She and Buster loved to travel, and Hawaii was always her favorite.

She was predeceased by her Mother, Billie, and her second mom, Glenda Varner.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Buster of Crowley, father Delmar Varner of North Richland Hills; son Scott and wife Amanda of Duncanville; daughter April Lewis and husband Phillip of Salado; brother Phil Varner of North Richland Hills; sister Teresa Clark and partner of Mansfield; grandchildren Andrew, Alexis, Kaden, Ryden and Liberty, along with a hosts of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Following services, Patty will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
