IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Edward
Cain
October 18, 1954 – December 18, 2025
Thomas Edward Cain, a faithful and loving servant of his Lord, traded time on earth for his eternity in heaven, the morning of December 18, 2025.
Tom was born October 18, 1954 in Dublin, Texas to the late Carl Edward and Marselle Vivian (Parsley) Cain. He obtained his Bachelor's, then Masters Degree, and retired from Lockheed Martin as a Senior Technical Writer. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He married the love of his life, Diana Elizabeth (Hilfiker) Cain and they celebrated 49 years together December 3rd.
Tom loved his family and friends deeply, but loved his Lord and Savior with all his being. A Deacon for many years at West Freeway Church of Christ, Tom was always available for whatever was needed. He was most proud of being a recent graduate of the School of Evangelism at West Freeway. Tom enjoyed fishing, and also woodworking. If you are blessed to have one of his pieces of furniture or bookcases in your home, you appreciate his craftsmanship. He loved a good joke and always had a big smile and a great hug for anyone. He enjoyed good food, but especially, he LOVED desserts !!
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Diana, son Jeremy, daughter Deborah Rutledge and husband Ryan, all of Fort Worth, sister Catherin Schroth and husband Bill of Coppell, TX, brother Mike Cain of Keller, TX, sisters Suzy Witherspoon of Hobbs, NM and Ginny Pyles of Granbury, TX, grandsons Thomas and Bryce, along with a hosts of church family, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Should friends desire, memorials in Tom's name can be made to the West Freeway School of Evangelism (1900 S. Las Vegas Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76108) or Community Hospice of Texas ( www.chot.org )
